Full-Time | Remote After Training Patient-Focused Scheduling | No Weekends or Holidays | Corporate Office Role

Start Your Career at the Front Line of Patient Care Fairfax Radiology Centers the largest radiology practice in the Washington, DC metropolitan area is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to serve as the first point of contact in a patient's imaging journey. In this role, you'll do more than schedule appointments you'll help patients feel informed, reassured, and supported from their very first interaction.

This position transitions to fully remote after training. During scheduled work hours (Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM), employees must maintain a distraction-free environment and remain consistently available on the phone system.

What You'll Do

• Schedule a variety of radiologic exams accurately for patients and referring providers
• Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism, empathy, and clarity
• Navigate a Windows-based, color-coded scheduling system to manage appointments
• Answer patient questions and guide them through next steps in their care

What You'll Bring

• Strong phone presence and excellent verbal communication skills
• A customer-first mindset with a genuine desire to help others
• Call center experience preferred
• Healthcare or health insurance call center experience strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
• Comfort working across multiple systems with solid computer skills

Compensation & Growth:

Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:
