Per Diem and Part time Hospice Registered Nurse

Responsibilities Provide one‑on‑one care in the comfort of home Support patients and families with dignity and heart Spend real time where it matters most Care without the chaos of hospital halls Provide emotional support to help patients live their final days with dignity and comfort Conduct supervisory visits for clinical observation of assigned team members Participate and provide feedback during interdisciplinary group meetings Prepare clinical and progress notes, and participate in IDG conferences Participate in Hospice performance improvement programs Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with our clients, families, and caregivers Communicate information using current process and technology within the organization Perform on‑call duties (5 pm – 8 am) on a rotating schedule Participate in field visits daily Attend weekly office meetings as indicated Adapt to patients' status and needs on a full‑time on‑call basis Qualifications Current Michigan License in good standing Minimum one year of hospice experience Empathetic approach to patients and caregivers Ability to adapt to patients' status and needs on a full‑time on‑call basis Experience supervising paraprofessionals providing services to patients Knowledge of Medicare compliance and Hospice policies and procedures Ability to consult with and educate patients/families on disease process, self‑care techniques, end‑of‑life care, and ethical concerns Experience participating in field visits and office meetings as required Benefits 401 K Retirement Plan Medical benefits effective immediately PTO accrual Flexible scheduling Daily paychecks Employee appreciation program Rewarding work environment Paid general orientation High‑tech clientele Advanced skilled training offered Private duty, home health, and therapy division 24/7 staffing support #J-18808-Ljbffr AdvisaCare
