Relationship Manager I - Business Banking

Position Overview As a Relationship Manager I - Business Banker in the St.Louis market, you will provide cash flow solutions to businesses with annual sales from $2million to $10million. You will act as a trusted advisor, facilitating cash flow conversations, managing the sales cycle, and optimizing the cash flow of business customers to help them achieve their goals. Responsibilities Handle relationship management activities with new and existing clients to grow sales, revenue, and market share. Originate, analyze, negotiate, and document credit and non‑credit products and services. Manage risk‑return and drive quality for new and existing clients, mitigating regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks. Identify client opportunities and provide ideas and insights based on the client's needs and financial well‑being. Increase client engagement and loyalty. Build an effective network of internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and expand existing ones. Present the full range of PNC’s products and services to clients, leveraging reporting and sales tools to convert opportunities. Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk using internal credit policies and credit fundamentals. Required Skills & Qualifications Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for this role. 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience. University or college degree, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience. Strong client relationship management and business acumen. Financial analysis, decision‑making, and critical thinking. Effective communication and prospecting skills. Tech savvy and ability to use sales tools. Preferred Skills Experience with book of business and credit processes. Knowledge of credit products and customer engagement. Customer experience management. Sales and selling experience.
