Project Manager

Project Manager Pay Rate: $45 - $50 per hour, W2 Duration: 3-Month Contract Location: Fayetteville, GA Work Mode: Onsite Note: Commercial Security experience is required for this in person role. Responsibilities Responsible for project administration of all current and/or future installations of Fire and/or Security, CCTV, Card Access & other specialty systems. May supervise other PMs as needed on projects. Provide coaching/mentoring for other PMs within the group. Effectively plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects using appropriate principles, methods, and techniques. Proactively communicate project requirements to the project team and wider stakeholders. Develop appropriate planning documents including project plans, scope documents, SOWs, charters, Execution Playbooks, etc. Identify potential project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize impact and control deviations. Coordinate procurement of materials, supplies, and services for timely and cost-effective project completion. Establish project milestones and analyze costs; adjust project plans and/or cost estimates as necessary. Manage Monitoring and Controlling aspects of a project including issue/risk identification and resolution, change management, reporting, and communication. Ensure effective Quality Assurance/Quality Control mechanisms are in place and adhered to. Execute project closeout activities including turnover to appropriate operations teams. Requirements Commercial Security experience is required. High-level domain knowledge/expertise in the commercial security industry. Demonstrated history of Project Management leadership including leading multiple simultaneous projects. Strong technical understanding of the electronic security industry. Ability to organize, plan, and set priorities in a highly deadline-oriented environment. Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) and negotiation skills. Strong knowledge of sales, installation, billing, and monitoring systems for managing National Accounts. Intermediate MS Office and Project skills. Ability to travel as required. Preferred Skills Bachelor’s degree preferred with minimum 5 years experience in the alarm industry and project management. Advanced electronic security industry knowledge.
