You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication in a healthcare setting. Role Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: 22.58 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with hospital personnel and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to support an orderly environment for patient care and daily operations. Assist with security-related requests such as escorts, directions, and incident reporting while maintaining professionalism and respect in a healthcare setting. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
