Wound Nurse

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Nurse to join our team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Patuxent River, a state‑of‑the‑art nursing center located just minutes from the University of Maryland Laurel Medical Center. As a Wound Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high‑quality wound care services to our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes and improved quality of life. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatment plans for residents with complex wounds Conduct regular wound assessments and document findings accurately and thoroughly Develop and implement individualized wound care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team Educate residents, families, and caregivers on wound care techniques and prevention strategies Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize wound care outcomes Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of wound care treatments and resident progress Requirements Current RN license in the state of Maryland 1+ year of experience as a Wound Nurse or in a similar role Strong knowledge of wound care principles and practices Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations What We Offer Competitive hourly rate of $35 – $40 Opportunity to work in a state‑of‑the‑art nursing center with a reputation for excellence Collaborative and supportive work environment Professional development opportunities to advance your career The salary range listed is approximate and may vary based on experience and qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
