Event Coordinator - Entry Level

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and event management industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join their team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be an essential part of the Events and Marketing department supporting cross-functional teams. Job Title: Event Coordinator Location: 5380 Tech Data Dr, Clearwater, FL Pay Range: $25-29/hr Event Coordinator Role (2-3+ years' experience) What's the Job? Assist in managing logistics associated with events and trade shows including retroplanning, timeline management, product ordering, and venue research Support communication with third-party vendors such as production agencies, venues, florists, photographers, A/V companies, and entertainment providers Liaise with cross-functional teams including Digital, Marketing, Education, and Creative to ensure project alignment, accuracy, and timeliness Manage the schedule of all active projects and ensure deadlines are met Support communication with internal teams and global markets by cascading information and fielding inquiries What's Needed? Prior experience with event planning and logistics, with a focus on trade show coordination preferred Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong adherence to timelines and deadlines Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented approach to work What's in it for me?
