VP, Sales - United States

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 + uncapped commission
Location: Remote, US

We are working with an international market research and insights organisation that is expanding its Insights and Analytics offering in the US. This is a senior sales leadership role with responsibility for developing the US commercial strategy, winning new enterprise clients, and building relationships with senior stakeholders across a range of industries.

The role would suit an experienced sales professional with a strong hunter mentality who is comfortable operating in a lean, growing environment. Alongside carrying an individual sales target, you will help shape the US sales function and coach future team members.

Skills, experience and responsibilities:

• Developing and executing the US sales strategy

• Identifying, developing and converting new enterprise opportunities

• Building relationships with senior stakeholders across insights, marketing, strategy, innovation and customer experience

• Selling customised qualitative and quantitative research, analytics and insight solutions

• Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to negotiation and close

• Growing new client relationships and supporting account development

• Preparing commercial proposals alongside internal research and consulting teams

• Maintaining accurate pipeline management and revenue forecasts

• Working closely with research, operations and client success teams

• Coaching and supporting commercial team members as the US function develops

To be considered, you will need 15+ years' enterprise sales experience within market research, insights consulting, market intelligence or data and analytics, with a proven record of winning enterprise accounts.

Strong knowledge of the US market, experience engaging senior stakeholders and a genuine new-business focus are essential. Experience across qualitative and quantitative research will be important.

This role is based in the US, and successful candidates need to be US-based along with a valid working permit.
