We are partnering with a growing organization in Lewisville seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join an established payroll team. This position is open due to growth and will support high-volume weekly payroll for 500+ employees .

Compensation: $65K-$75K + overtime
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Onsite

What You'll Do

• Process weekly payroll for 500+ employees
• Collect, review and validate employee timekeeping data
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Maintain payroll information for new hires, terminations, promotions and employee changes
• Process and maintain garnishments and child support orders
• Support payroll tax compliance and quarterly reporting
• Assist with benefits and 401(k) related payroll administration
• Maintain PTO and other payroll-related employee records
• Process and verify direct deposits
• Support employment verifications
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation and ensure compliance with applicable tax and deduction requirements
• Assist with benefits open enrollment as needed

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience
• Must have experience processing payroll for at least 500 employees
• Experience with weekly payroll required
• Comfortable working in a payroll environment that includes manual processes, timecard review and data uploads
• Experience with payroll taxes, garnishments, benefits and 401(k) administration strongly preferred
• Sage experience is a plus, but not required
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Important Schedule Requirement

Because payroll is processed weekly and must be completed on schedule , candidates must be comfortable occasionally working beyond normal business hours, including some holidays and rare weekend work when necessary to meet payroll deadlines . This is an hourly position and overtime is paid at time-and-a-half.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
