Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to support students on a contract basis near McKeesport, PA. This full-time assignment covers a maternity leave from August 17 through mid-November, with the potential to extend through the end of the school year depending on departmental needs.

As a School Psychologist in this role, you’ll play a vital role in student success—helping to evaluate, assess, and support children across multiple grade levels. Your expertise will inform recommendations for interventions and accommodations, and you may also provide essential counseling services to individual students or small groups.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active School Psychologist certification in Pennsylvania (or eligibility)
• Previous experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments within a school setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff and families
• Knowledge of best practices in special education and educational psychology
• Comfort with IEP processes, report writing, and consultation with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, providing written and verbal input
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement intervention strategies
• Offer consultative support to faculty regarding students’ learning and behavioral needs
• Provide counseling and guidance to students as needed
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
