Description:
We are seeking a physician specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery for locum tenens coverage.
The schedule includes call only, with a 1:3 call rotation.
The call begins Thursday at 7 AM MST and continues until the next Monday at 7 AM MST.
Patient encounters per shift will be determined.
The facility is a Level 2 trauma center.
The following skills and procedures are required:
General CV/thoracic surgery.
Valvular repair and replacement.
Aneurysm repair.
Cardiac procedures.
Preferred skills include thoracic surgery and lung resection.
Additional skills preferred include chest wall or pleural procedures.
The following skills are not required:
Endoscopic techniques.
Coronary artery bypass surgery.
Management of acute volume or blood pressure issues.
Placement of central, arterial, and PA catheters.
This position demands an experienced physician committed to providing high-quality care.
Candidates must be prepared to use a secure paging service during their call rotation.
