Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer (Tooling)
Location: Appleton, WI | Onsite
Pay: $33 $41/hr | Salary: $75K $85K
Job Summary
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with strong shop-floor experience to design fixtures and improve manufacturing processes using SolidWorks, GD&T, Lean, Time Studies, Line Balancing, and VSM.
Key Responsibilities
- Design manufacturing, assembly, welding, and inspection fixtures.
- Create 3D layouts, assemblies, and fabrication drawings using SolidWorks/GD&T.
- Conduct Time Studies, Line Balancing, VSM, and capacity analysis.
- Drive Lean, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, and RCA initiatives.
- Develop Standard Work and Work Instructions.
- Troubleshoot and improve shop-floor quality, productivity, and processes.
Required Skills
Shop-Floor Experience | Fixture Design | SolidWorks | GD&T | Time Study | Line Balancing | VSM | Lean Manufacturing | RCA | Kaizen
Education: Bachelor's in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
