Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist – Brownstown Dental Care We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. Days Needed: Tuesday‑Friday. Overview As a Dental Hygienist, you will be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, giving your patients the time and care they need, deserve, and desire. You will receive robust support through our Hygiene mentor program and educational offerings to enhance your clinical skills. Responsibilities Work with the practice manager and a highly trained team to provide exceptional patient care and preventative services. Collaborate with dentists to coordinate treatment plans and perform hygiene procedures. Participate in virtual and in‑person training sessions and maintain clinical skills with devices such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and digital x‑rays. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Michigan. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Preferred Experience At least 1 year of clinical experience. Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care. Ability to meet clinical needs as required by office. Physical Requirements Perform essential duties as requested by the office or dentist even with reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
