Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist Brownstown Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. Days needed: Tuesday‑Friday. About Brownstown Dental Care Brownstown Dental Care is a Heartland Dental supported office that serves its own community and patients with a commitment to delivering high quality dental care. Key Responsibilities Provide patient care and dental hygiene procedures as part of the patient care team. Perform patient screenings, documentation, and preventive education. Assist in delivering exceptional lifetime care to patients. Attend scheduled training sessions, both virtual and in‑person, as required. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Michigan. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Preferred Experience 1+ year of clinical experience. Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X‑rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as required by the office, doctor, or Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Capacity to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically during the year. Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test prior to starting employment (required for all new hires in dental office positions).
