Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Auburn, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care for newborns 34 weeks and above, including stabilizing and transferring higher-acuity infants. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse with a minimum of 0 years of experience. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required; STABLE certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal central line assistance (UAC, PICC, UVC), vent management, NAS care, APGAR scoring, assisting with deliveries, and newborn receiving. Familiarity with Bubble Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), High Flow, Nasal Cannula, and Neo Puff. Experience with attending deliveries, newborn stabilization, and first-time travel accepted.
• Additional Information: Floating to deliver babies, newborn receiving, or neonatal care may be required. No mandatory call, volunteering only. Scrubs provided in teal. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center with a 6-bed Level II NICU, totaling 131 beds. The program is designated as MHS 2021.
