• Starting mid-November: Work full time at an elementary school, partnering with another onsite social worker. Manage a caseload of 25-30 students.
• Beginning December: Embrace the challenge and rewards of supporting a severe ASD classroom, with help from an additional social worker onsite. Willingness to learn and grow in this environment is key. Full-time commitment with a 25-30 student caseload.
• Starting January: Full-time position within a typical elementary setting, where multiple social workers offer collegial support. Caseload is 25-30 students.

To thrive in these roles, you will need:

• A master’s degree in social work.
• Either three ten-letter recommendations for school social work roles, or preliminary certification in MOECS.
• An encouraging, committed attitude—especially in the ASD-focused position, where a readiness to learn is highly valued.

Core responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support and interventions for elementary students.
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other school social workers.
• Help develop and implement individualized plans for students, ensuring their success and well-being.
• Engage with parents and guardians as key partners in student progress.
