Patient Care Tech/Phlebotomist- 2 South FT Nights

Job Description:
1. High school or GED completion 2. Certified Nursing Assistant documentation for Certified PCT position. Must maintain current Pennsylvania license. B. Experience: 1. Hospital experience preferred
2. Phlebotomy and ECG experience preferred C. Other Skills: 1. Certified in B.L.S. for health care providers 2. Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- PURPOSE OF JOB:
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides safe and efficient direct patient care with consideration for age-specificaccommodations.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and health care team members in order to achieve excellence in patient care.
- Promotes patient safety through adherence to protocols, policies, procedures, evidence-based guidelines and Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals.
- Actively participates in and supports departmental and organizational quality initiatives and goals.
- Maintains clinical competency according to unit-specific standards.
- Education:
1. High school or GED completion 2. Certified Nursing Assistant documentation for Certified PCT position. Must maintain current Pennsylvania license. B. Experience: 1. Hospital experience preferred
