This role will be located at our Centennial, Colorado facility.Role OverviewThe Facility Operations Technician supports the maintenance and operation of building systems, facility equipment, and production support infrastructure at Beehive Industries' Centennial, Colorado facility. Working closely with manufacturing, engineering, and facilities teams, this role performs routine preventative maintenance, assists with repairs, and supports general facility upkeep to ensure a safe, clean, and reliable working environment. The ideal candidate has developing technical skills, foundational experience in facility or industrial maintenance, and the ability to work with limited supervision on routine tasks.What You'll Do...Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following all procedures, rules, and regulationsPerform routine industrial maintenance tasks including fabrication, installation, and inspections of facility equipment and building systemsSupport maintenance and repair of facility systems including plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, lighting, flooring, walls, and mechanical componentsPerform preventative maintenance on building systems and support equipment including compressors, chillers, generators, CNC support systems, and additive manufacturing equipmentAssist with troubleshooting basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic issues under limited supervisionPerform periodic inspections of buildings and equipment and document findings or escalate issues as neededManage and update facility work orders through ticketing and asset tracking systems, prioritizing tasks appropriatelySupport setup and breakdown of furniture, equipment, and event materials throughout the facilityFollow maintenance procedures and work instructions to complete assigned tasks independently or with minimal directionUse hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively for maintenance and repair tasksMaintain accurate records of completed work in maintenance tracking systemsCommunicate facility or equipment issues to senior technicians or supervisorsContribute to team efforts by supporting facility operations and ensuring minimal disruption to productionYou Have...EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentFormal training in a mechanical trade, facility maintenance, or technical program preferredExperience1–2 years of facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, construction, or related hands-on experienceExposure to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or industrial systems in a manufacturing or facilities environmentExperience performing preventative maintenance or routine repairs with some independenceSkills & CompetenciesBasic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systemsAbility to troubleshoot basic equipment and facility system issues with limited supervisionAbility to read and follow maintenance procedures, instructions, and basic technical documentationFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipmentStrong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and reliabilityGood communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environmentBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking or CMMS systemsAbility to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing facility prioritiesDeveloping ability to work independently and make sound maintenance decisionsThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
