Accountant

General AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated general accountant to join our accounting team. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–7 years of accounting experience who are looking to grow their career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The general accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Key responsibilities include:Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accountsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesPerform account reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesSupport financial statement preparation and internal reportingAnalyze financial data and provide accounting support to managementAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisMaintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedulesSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as neededAssist with audits and provide requested documentationEnsure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsParticipate in process improvement initiatives and special projectsQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in accounting1–7 years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or industryStrong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reportingExperience with ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsRequired experience includes:Experience with month-end close and reconciliationsFamiliarity with financial reporting and audit supportCompensation and benefits include:Competitive salary based on experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)Paid time off and holidaysProfessional development and growth opportunities
