Spot Welder

Position / Title: Spot Welder


Shift / Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
@ times they have OT that can be from 5:00-3:30 & if Saturday 5:00/6:00 - 11:00


Until the Rowlett facility officially opens, all Rowlett-based employees will report to work at the Bonham facility.


To help offset the additional commute, employees hired for Rowlett positions will receive a $2.00 per hour temporary commute differential while working in Bonham. The commute differential will end once the employee officially transitions to reporting to the Rowlett facility.


Pay Rate: $21 to $23, DEO, will consider up to $26 for highly skilled with years of similar experience


Location: On-Site, will work in Bonham TX until the Rowlett facility opens
Reports To: Weld Supervisor


Responsibilities


Able to complete machine maintenance, as detailed on the preventive maintenance checklist
Able to accurately interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and any production knowledge applicable.
Able to set up spotweld machines, ensuring your area is ready to operate.
Able to spotweld cold rolled, hot rolled, stainless steel, and aluminum assemblies and sub-assemblies according to print specifications.
Must be able to set up within the time limits and be able to spot inaccuracies.
Complete all documentation of operating processes prior to initiating further manufacturing.
Meet attendance requirements, safety and housekeeping standards, and follow the code of conducts and shop rules.
Be compliant in following directions from Team Lead or management.
Physical Requirements


Must be able to handle parts and material up to 35 pounds.
Stand extended periods of time.
Be open to performing miscellaneous tasks to assist shop personnel.
Minimum Position Requirements


Must be familiar with spotwelding as it applies to equipment knowledge and operation familiarity.
Able to adjust spotwelding equipment to produce high quality welds on various materials.
