ERP Applications Manager

Summary/objective

The primary purpose of this position will be to work with our focus areas on requirements and needs for our system for long term success. They would be responsible for making sure we are driving and being consistent with the firm's goals. They would be responsible for finding resources to meet the needs of the firm. Guiding on what the system is capable of and looking forward.

Essential functions

  • Development, customization, configuration and testing of NetSuite ERP modules and workflows
  • Data migration from legacy platforms into newly implemented NetSuite solution
  • Integrate third party applications with the NetSuite ERP System
  • Be the technical point of contact for the ERP application and provide front line support for NetSuite users
  • Build/maintain user interface entry forms, as well as email and PDF templates
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the business process centered on the NetSuite platform
  • Maintain user roles/access and assign appropriate permissions/levels of access
  • Experience in customization of reports, KPI's, dashboards, saved searches, and workflows within the NetSuite platform
  • Performing mass updates on a schedule or by demand
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining the NetSuite platform
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure data integrity
  • Work directly with NetSuite or other Professional Services organization to drive and coordinate larger (more complex) NetSuite projects
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customizations and integrations
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Physical demands

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Travel required

Less than 10%. Initial travel required for training.

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 7-9 years of accounting or finance experience; or any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, strong follow through and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines (NOTE: Ownership)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work with confidential data
  • Adaptability to the shifting demands of a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven knowledge of SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0
  • Strong experience with NetSuite integrations with third party applications and NetSuite APIs.
  • Prior experience as a NetSuite Developer
  • Strong understanding of Netsuite Search tools (using joins, aggregated data, formula fields using SQL operators to extract data)
  • Understanding of data models, data integrity, and database concepts.
  • A minimum of 3 years of development experience; with at least 2 years of experience with Netsuite (including SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk and SuiteBuilder) as a developer and as an administrator
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud administration

Preferred education and experience

  • Netsuite SuiteFoundation/Administrator Certification is a plus
  • Experience with SuiteAnalytics and query module is a plus
  • Master's degree or equivalent higher qualification in a related field strongly preferred
