About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required. License: Current RN Licensure in California. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic. Previous charge experience is preferred. Travel experience is required. Description: Emergency Department Registered Nurse providing competent and compassionate patient care. Care delivered in accordance with unit, department, and hospital policies. Adhere to scientific principles and evidence-based nursing practices. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Must be able to manage various patient diagnoses and treatment procedures. Demonstrated ability in managing emergencies and stabilizing patients. Float to other units as needed based on patient census and scope of practice. Every other weekend rotation required with no call obligations. Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary support staff. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and meet nursing objectives. Must demonstrate skills in managing complex patient needs and providing high-quality care.
