Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of evidence-based practices. Knowledge of pathophysiology and pharmacological implications is essential. Accurate documentation of assessments and clinical procedures is required. Effective patient and family education is a key responsibility. Candidates must meet standards for telemonitoring and safe medication administration. Recognition of changes in patient condition is critical. The nurse will role model safety behaviors and act as a patient advocate. Working independently and collaboratively with the team is necessary. Acceptance of constructive feedback and completion of tasks within designated timeframes is expected. Initiative and necessary follow-up on responsibilities are vital for this position. Experience with various emergency medical conditions and procedures is preferred. Certifications must be current and applicable to the role.
