About the Position

The role involves providing care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The nurse will manage patients with various emergencies and conditions such as abdominal pain, acute psychosis, drug overdose, and trauma, among others. Experience in managing ventilated patients and administering emergency medications is essential. The nurse will also be required to perform procedures such as intubation, central line management, and chest tube insertion. Interdisciplinary support services including respiratory, social services, and pharmacy will be available for assistance. The daily census and number of patient visits can vary; however, efficient patient management is crucial. Candidates should possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team. The role demands the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
