Human Resources (HR) Assistant – Wahiawa, HI (long‑term contract). We are looking for a meticulous and organized HR Assistant to support essential HR functions in a collaborative environment. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii. Responsibilities Assist with the distribution of paychecks and manage documentation. Support onboarding by preparing employee packets and coordinating orientation sessions. Organize materials for open enrollment, including handouts, employee registration, and attendance tracking. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and uploading documents into the HR system. Create and maintain employee folders, ensuring accurate and updated records. Coordinate company events and manage logistics and communication with staff. Collaborate with staff to address employee inquiries and provide culturally sensitive support. Adhere to established policies and procedures, seeking clarification when necessary. Use Microsoft Office tools and office equipment efficiently. Maintain an organized and adaptable approach to support various HR functions as needed. Requirements Prior experience in human resources is required. Proficiency in using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and basic Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Experience with onboarding processes and employee documentation. Familiarity with open enrollment procedures and benefits coordination. Excellent communication skills with sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds. Attention to detail and a conscientious attitude toward work. Ability to work 100% onsite during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
