Educational Program Specialist I

The Educational Program Specialist I will provide administrative academic support for programs in the Department of Health Professions (HIA & Respiratory Therapy) by assisting with the recruiting and admissions process, student support, course management, and program evaluation. Position will also serve as the primary back up support for the other AHP programs.

The duties include, but are not limited to:

• ADMISSIONS SUPPORT: Serve as the primary contact for applicants/prospective students, providing information on admission requirements, application status, and program details.
• EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT: Submit curriculum inventory data and Banner class rosters to the Registrar each semester for all programs.
• RECRUITMENT: Participate with the admissions committee in recruitment events and information sessions.
• ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: Provide general administrative support to the program directors.
• OTHER: Perform other duties as assigned to include back up support for BSHS, BSHS-SLP, CLS, NMT, Radiation Therapy programs.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education or an applicable field with a minimum of two years of experience with online educational programs, courseware development, or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an academic setting, student recruitment, and admissions support.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of Microsoft Word suite 365, databases, operating systems, and spreadsheets. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail. Critical-thinking skills. Manage multiple deadlines and the ability to resolve issues. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Shift: Days/M-F Pay Band: B7 Salary: Minimum $20.29/hour - Midpoint: $25.34/hour Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position Recruitment Period: Until Filled Augusta University offers a variety of benefits to full-time benefits-eligible employees and some of our half-time (or more) employees.
