Project Engineer OpportunityWe are currently representing a well-established General Contractor with over 50 years of experience delivering impactful infrastructure across California. With a strong legacy of building schools, libraries, hospitals, civic centers, and other essential public facilities, the firm continues to grow its footprint throughout the state.They are currently seeking Project Engineers to support a growing number of K-14 school construction projects, including ground-up builds, modernizations, and renovations. Many upcoming projects are tied to the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), and candidates with prior LAUSD or DSA-regulated project experience will be strongly considered. Public Works and Municipal project experience is also valuable.ResponsibilitiesSupport the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction through closeout, for K-14 and public infrastructure projectsAssist with constructability reviews, estimating, procurement, scheduling, and material trackingPrepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change ordersCoordinate communication between project management, field teams, subcontractors, and consultantsTrack schedules, assist with updates, and communicate changes to relevant partiesSupport cost tracking, invoice review, and contract administrationEnsure compliance with safety and quality procedures across all job phasesContribute to a positive team environment that prioritizes collaboration and accountabilityQualifications2+ years of experience in construction, preferably with exposure to K-14, Public Works, or DSA-regulated projectsLAUSD project experience is highly preferred and will be given strong considerationBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferredStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage detailed project recordsFamiliarity with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively and support cross-functional project teamsCompensation + BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based bonus structureEmployer-paid medical insurance premiumsReimbursement available for dental and vision plansOption to receive a payout if covered under outside insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA) for medical and personal useLong-term disability insurancePaid sick leave, vacation, and company-recognized holidaysEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)401(k) plan with employer match
