Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This part-time, contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced SLP-CCC seeking on-site work within a dedicated educational setting near Durham, NC. The contract runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with a commitment of up to 20 hours per week. Multiple school assignments and caseload details will be determined prior to your start, serving a range of student age groups.

Interviews are scheduled for the week of June 22. An organized onboarding process ensures you’re prepared before July.

What we’re seeking:

• Current SLP-CCC credential (Clinical Fellowship Year candidates not eligible)
• Active professional license and educator certificate for North Carolina
• Minimum of one year of school-based SLP experience
• Ability and willingness to obtain an NPI number and register with NC Tracks before the start date
• Completion of DCDEE fingerprinting requirements prior to assignment
• Demonstrated commitment to enhancing student communication outcomes in diverse educational environments

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based speech-language services to students in assigned schools
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
• Provide consultation and support for classroom strategies and accommodations
