Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This part-time, in-person contract position is designed for an experienced clinician who thrives in a school setting and values flexible, meaningful work. The placement runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with work concentrated in the Cary area near Durham, NC. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist professional license (CCC only; no CFYs)
• Active educator certificate meeting state requirements
• Minimum 1 year of prior school-based SLP experience
• Ability (or willingness) to obtain an NPI number and register with NC Tracks before starting
• DCDEE fingerprinting compliance
• Commitment to work on-site, up to 20 hours per week in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Address the diverse speech and language needs of assigned students, supporting educational goals
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, document progress, and collaborate with school staff and families
• Adapt interventions and communication to suit varying caseloads and school assignments (number of schools and caseload specifics to be determined)
• Maintain accurate student records and uphold compliance with state and district guidelines
