Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: - BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted - Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics - Advanced Life Support - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: - 3 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high volume delivery service Description: A Level IV Client Designation facility. Consists of 26 LDR suites, 6 C-section suites, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 15 monitored Ante-partum rooms. Offers academic teaching services as well as large private OB practices. Provides high-risk, fast-paced delivery services performing over 500 deliveries per month. Includes 24-hour in-house Attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. Has a Perinatal Transport Program. The Women’s Emergency Department sees patients from 16 weeks to 6 weeks postpartum and has an expanded GYN scope. This department has a total of 14 beds. Certifications preferred: S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification.
