Clinical Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room

Role Overview: Provides direct nursing care in the Operating Room, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within standard nursing practices. Key Responsibilities: Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-care needs, and medication use. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and family. Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, and spiritual factors. Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times. Qualifications & Skills: RN license required; Nursing diploma or associate's degree with preferred BSN. At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience; prior neuro OR experience preferred. Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
