They manage the process of sending out parts and equipment for repair or return, and track the return or credit process. They also manage and update all required records and documentation. This position includes handling purchasing tasks within the plant and assisting with corporate purchasing initiatives, all with an emphasis on cost savings. The MRO Coordinator also offers administrative support for the Preventive Maintenance program.ResponsibilitiesOrder, track, receive, and stock inventory. Close out PO’s for inbound parcels within 48 hours of receiptCoordinate quotes, packaging, shipping out, tracking, and receipt/repair parts through EpicorMaintain inventory of essential parts while reducing inventory costs through proper min/max levelsUse Epicor software to control budgeted costs, manage assets, monitor parts inventory, track expenditures and track status of open purchase ordersObtain multiple quotes for requested parts in a timely manner and help negotiate cost savings on purchasesWork with the Purchasing Agent to requisition and set up new parts in EpicorWork with vendors regarding defective parts and follow through return/credit processCoordinate vendor contractors and suppliers working in or visiting the plantRun weekly Preventive Maintenance schedulesProvide administrative support for the Preventive Maintenance programCreate PMs in Epicor, as neededCoordinate predictive maintenance activities and maintain PM recordsAssist Maintenance Manger with follow up for PM completionMaintain and update asset specific Lock Out Tag Out proceduresTrack and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) charters for the departmentCoordinate removal of Hazmat material from plant, conduct environmental reporting, and maintain environmental licensesManage all maintenance records and documentation in paper and electronic formKeep maintenance crib efficiently organized to enhance ease of locating and checking out partsAssign manuals, labels and other information to parts and assetsManage MRO vending machine systemMaintain and update SDS websiteMaintain excellent standards for housekeeping and safetyPerform additional duties as assigned by managementEducationHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience3-5 years work experienceKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesData entry and keyboarding accuracyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPlanning and problem-solving abilitiesOrganizational skillsStrong computer skills including proficiency in ExcelProven track record of excellent attendance and work ethicEssential FunctionsRegular and Reliable AttendanceReadingWritingVisual AcuityAscend/Descend Stairways and Platforms with Heights of up to 50+ feetStanding for 12 hoursWalkingBendingTwistingReachingPushingPullingLifting/Carrying up to 30 pounds (higher weights require a two-person lift)Concentration #J-18808-Ljbffr Petoskey-Plastics
