Key Responsibilities\n

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Monitor and assess client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to develop comprehensive care plans that address both mental and physical health needs.

• Provide follow-up care and support by liaising with inpatient facilities when clients are admitted, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify and address behaviors that may hinder client recovery, implementing proactive strategies to foster emotional strength.

• Guide family members and primary caregivers in understanding mental health challenges and equipping them with coping strategies to support their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, all facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. With a focus on inclusive and culturally competent care, the counselor is expected to tailor interventions to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and cared for.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range from USD 80,000 to 101,000 per year, commensurate with experience and productivity.
