Insurance Defense Paralegal

A well-established law firm with offices throughout South Carolina is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join its litigation team in either Greenville or Charleston. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of insurance defense litigation experience and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities Issue subpoenas and manage record collection. Schedule depositions, mediations, and other case-related events. Analyze medical records and prepare medical chronologies. Draft and prepare discovery requests and related litigation documents. Communicate and coordinate with expert witnesses. Serve as a liaison with insured clients and insurance adjusters. Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case management. Maintain litigation calendars and manage heavy scheduling demands. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of insurance defense litigation paralegal experience. Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and case management. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage a large workload and meet competing deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Compensation $65K-$75K (potential to go higher depending on experience) and comprehensive benefits package.
