Accounting ManagerChicago, Illinois, United StatesAbout the Job Accounting ManagerSDL is partnering with an Environmental Services company looking for an Accounting Manager on a temp-to-hire basis. This will ideally turn into a full-time role for the right person after 3-6 months. This is a remote role with occasional travel to the company's Chicago-area office, so candidates must be local or able to reliably commute when needed. NetSuite experience is required.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processManage general ledger activities and ensure accuracy of financial dataPrepare and analyze financial statements and reportsLead account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesSupervise and support AP/AR functions, ensuring timely processing and accuracyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and controlsEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal policiesSupport audits and other ad hoc financial projectsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of accounting experience, with progressive responsibilityNetSuite experience is REQUIREDStrong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliationsFamiliarity with AP/AR processesLocal to the Greater Chicago area and able to travel to the office as required
