Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new clients and their families to identify individual needs.

• Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based practices to support each client's unique therapeutic journey.

• Manage clinical documentation and billing efficiently, including the preparation of individualized treatment plans and insurance authorization forms, maintaining compliance with deadlines.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies to promote sustained mental wellness and stability for your clients.
\n
• Design effective discharge plans to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of care following treatment.
\n
• Adhere to federal and state regulations, as well as organizational policies, to guarantee ethical and compliant practice.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to collaboratively strategize treatment approaches and improve client outcomes.

• Complete all required licensure maintenance and mandatory training in a timely manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of New York.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing therapy in outpatient settings, preferably using evidence-based practices.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing processes.

• Previous work experience with children and families is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with licensing and experience.
