Travel Inpatient Pharmacy Tech | Sunnyvale, California

This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a Pharmacy Technician in a leading 300-bed children's hospital in Northern California. The position supports the inpatient pharmacy team in delivering exceptional care to pediatric patients, utilizing EPIC software within a highly respected health system. This travel assignment provides exposure to a challenging and rewarding environment focused on pediatric inpatient care.


Responsibilities include:

• Accurately preparing and dispensing medications for inpatient pediatric patients
• Assisting pharmacists in medication management and inventory control
• Utilizing EPIC software for prescription processing and documentation
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Pharmacy Technician certification
• Previous experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC software strongly desired
• Strong work ethic and reliability akin to PGYI standards
• Ability to work variable days and afternoon shifts (8-hour shifts)
