Non-Invasive Cardiologist Opportunity

Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO) to join its growing Cardiovascular team serving the communities of Muskegon and Ludington, Michigan, offering the opportunity to practice within a collaborative regional cardiovascular network while delivering comprehensive cardiac care across outpatient and inpatient settings.

The Non-Invasive Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient clinic and hospital settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary cardiac care team. Responsibilities include:

• Providing non-invasive cardiology consultations and evaluations for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions
• Diagnosing and managing cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease (CAD), arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and other cardiac conditions
• Developing individualized treatment plans for patients based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings
• Participating in the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic, providing ongoing management and care for heart failure patients
• Managing and monitoring patients with lipid disorders and cardiovascular risk factors
• Conducting presurgical cardiac evaluations for patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Interpreting and performing diagnostic cardiology testing including echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Providing inpatient cardiology consultations and participating in hospital-based cardiovascular management
• Contributing to management of patients with implantable cardiac devices, including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), including remote monitoring
• Working closely with the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, a partnership between Trinity Health and University of Michigan Health-West
• Supporting a comprehensive cardiovascular program that includes structural heart services, electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic surgery programs
• Providing care for patients requiring management of: arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease (CAD), congestive heart failure, and valvular heart disease
• Collaborating with interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic teams managing procedures such as: cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), electrical cardioversion, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, and structural heart procedures (ASD, PFO, TAVR)
• Serving the Ludington community while maintaining the opportunity to practice within the Muskegon cardiology group

Open to experienced Board-Certified provider or truly board eligible recent graduates. Not accepting candidates who have lapsed Board Certification and need to obtain again. Not accepting locums candidates. Certification requirements include BLS, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology / Interventional Cardiology, and DEA License. State license requirements are Michigan.
