Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Location: Evans, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care, ensuring positive patient experiences in a fast-paced environment. The ED RN will be responsible for managing various emergency situations, performing assessments, and executing necessary interventions as per established protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform POC labs, including IV insertion and Foley catheter insertion.
• Assist providers with various emergency procedures.
• Ensure timely coordination of care and effective handoff communication using SBAR.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ED RN.
• Current TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must possess a valid RN license.
