Human Resources Manager

Murray County Human Resources Manager Murray County is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee the county’s human resource functions. The position is responsible for employee relations, labor relations, benefits administration, policy development, compliance, and overall HR operations. Responsibilities Provide strategic guidance and day‑to‑day support to promote a fair, consistent, and legally compliant workplace across all county departments. Collaborate closely with the County Coordinator, County Board, department heads, and employees to align HR practices with county priorities and support overall operations. Maintain independent professional responsibility for human resource practices, compliance, and consistency throughout the organization. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including employee and labor relations. Public sector and/or union experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Desired Qualifications: Four‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or Public Administration. SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, or equivalent certification. Experience in public sector or union environment. Salary Range $39.29–$51.07 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
