Lead Field Service Electronics Technician

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team of world‑class customer service professionals. This remote position is based in the greater Phoenix, AZ area and requires daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays. A company vehicle will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $69,000 – $101,000, with overtime eligibility. Salaries are based on individual skills, experience, and market considerations. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Two (2) years of experience in power systems, battery technologies, and/or electronics, including relevant coursework and internship experience. Current, unrestricted driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record. The role is designated as a Regular Driver pursuant to Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy. Requirement to pass customer entrance requirements such as background checks and drug screenings. Daily travel to customer sites and use of the Eaton‑provided fleet vehicle. Ability to support customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter. Capability to perform physical tasks, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution, or current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree engineering program or applicable military training. Three (3)+ years of experience working with power systems, battery technologies, and/or electronics. Electrical Technology Certificate. Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques. Strong understanding of electrical theory, battery systems, and single‑ and three‑phase circuits.
