About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, AI/Machine Learning Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing robust batch and streaming data pipelines that deliver high-quality, governed data to AI, analytics, and enterprise platforms. This role requires the implementation of data modeling, quality checks, and performance optimization across cloud and lakehouse environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and data engineering, with a focus on Spark/Databricks, Kafka, SQL, and orchestration tools. Experience in financial services is a plus. Key responsibilities for this role include designing and building data pipelines, developing scalable transformation frameworks, and ensuring the reliability and cost-efficiency of data flows. The candidate will also be expected to partner with various teams to translate requirements into data solutions, resolve complex platform issues, and promote engineering best practices. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required, along with 9-11 years' of experience in the industry. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in improving data platform performance, scalability, and governance, as well as strong leadership and mentoring skills.
