Find your calling at Mercy! Overview This individual is responsible to food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required for this position. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned. Position Details: Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, 1701 Lacey Street, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 Hours/Schedule: Part-Time (20-hrs per week) Food Service Department Shift: TBD Qualifications Education: None. Licensure: Food Handler within 180 days. Experience: 2 or more years of food service experience preferred. Certifications: None. Other: Excellent integrity. Takes initiative. Good moral character. Effectively communicate in English, both orally and written. Basic Math Skills Time Management Skills Great interpersonal skills Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Equipment Used: All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer. Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds. Preferred Education: High school diploma or its equivalent. Preferred Licensure: None. Preferred Experience: None.
