Manufacturing Support Associate

JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Support Associate DEPARTMENT: Production REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Production Supervisor JOB CLASSIFICATION (FULL TIME OR PART TIME): Full time FLSA STATUS (EXEMPT OR NON-EXEMPT): Non-Exempt Summary/Objective The primary function of this position is to support the various assembly processes involved in the manufacturing of OSI products and may include the assembly of parts at PCB and/or final assembly level and the setup and maintenance of PCB equipment (i.e., drag solder machines, trim saw and de-panelizing cutter). Essential Functions And Responsibilities Read, understand, and follow written work instructions Operation of equipment, drills, winding machines Assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and products Assist in staging of materials and kits for productions Develop skills and expertise in specific operation or processes in manufacturing Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities Qualifications High School diploma or Equivalent (GED) Some electronics knowledge preferred Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full time position. Occasional overtime may be needed. Travel No travel is expected for this position Physical demands and work environment Physical demands: continuous use of hands through manual dexterity such as grasping, reaching, handling, feeling, typing; occasional standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, pushing, pulling; stooping; lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally; vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; may use hand tools or power tools. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
