Assistant Principal - Anticipated

Overview The Meriden Public School District seeks a dynamic, energetic instructional leader who wants to promote, in collaboration with the faculty and community, quality education in a comprehensive high school as the school's next assistant principal. Qualifications The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in secondary curriculum oversight, staff supervision, and student behavior management. We are seeking an instructional leader who can effectively collaborate with certified staff to drive student achievement through data‑informed practices. Exceptional interpersonal communication and a high level of technological proficiency are required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience implementing restorative practices and support systems for at‑risk student populations. Applicants must hold, or be immediately eligible for, a Connecticut Intermediate Administration and Supervision certification (#092).
