Position Overview

The Intake Specialist works directly with individuals and families to determine eligibility for energy assistance programs. You will process applications, provide account support, and ensure clients receive accurate and timely service.

Responsibilities

• Process energy assistance applications in person and over the phone

• Determine eligibility based on program guidelines

• Manage and support client accounts

• Address questions and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry

• Understand internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance

• Build positive relationships with clients and community partners

Qualifications

• Passion for serving limited and low-income households

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Solid math and computer skills

• Comfortable working with detailed documentation and data entry

• Professional, organized, and able to manage multiple client interactions
