As a seller-doer, you'll combine business development, executive client advisory, and team leadership to shape commercial strategies that influence product planning, launch readiness, and long-term market success. Accountabilities:

• Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of consulting engagements while developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities within the life sciences industry.
• Generate and manage a minimum annual book of business through strategic relationship development, executive-level sales, proposal leadership, and contract negotiations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding complex business challenges and designing tailored commercial strategies and consulting solutions.
• Lead advisory engagements across areas including new product planning, commercial strategy, product launches, marketing excellence, competitive intelligence, lifecycle management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee project execution to ensure high-quality deliverables, client satisfaction, and successful business outcomes across multiple accounts.
• Drive thought leadership by identifying emerging industry trends, developing innovative service offerings, and contributing to the long-term growth strategy of the advisory practice.
• Mentor, coach, and develop consulting teams while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
• Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, business development initiatives, and organizational growth efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; an advanced scientific degree and/or MBA is strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in management consulting, commercial advisory, strategy, or change management within the life sciences industry.
• Demonstrated success generating and managing consulting revenue, with a proven track record of sourcing at least $3 million in annual sales over recent years.
• Deep expertise in commercial consulting, including product planning, launch strategy, commercialization, marketing, and business transformation.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to build trusted relationships from director level through the C-suite.
• Exceptional business development, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary consulting teams and managing complex client engagements.
• Strong leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring talent, developing high-performing teams, and driving organizational growth.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms, project management tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
