Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float Nurse position available in Ithaca, New York. This position involves providing patient care across multiple units, including ICU, Intermediate Care (IMC), Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg), Telemetry, and Emergency Department (ED). Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid nursing license; minimum 2 years ICU experience; minimum 1 year Med/Surg or Telemetry experience; minimum 2 years ED experience including triage; charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have Epic electronic medical record experience. Positions involve working every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Responsibilities include bedside patient care within ICU, IMC, Med/Surg/Tele, and ED units, with appropriate staffing ratios and support from designated Charge Nurses and triage nurses.
