Car Concepts is hiring a Store Manager in Training (SMIT) to develop future leaders for our growing automotive service locations across the DFW metro area. This role provides hands-on training in store operations, leadership, customer experience, and financial performance under the guidance of experienced Store Managers and Market Leaders.
What You'll Do
• Train across all areas of store operations (sales, service, inventory, scheduling, and administration)
• Deliver outstanding customer service aligned with our "Unreasonable Hospitality" philosophy
• Learn to manage key performance metrics, labor, and store-level financials
• Support hiring, training, and coaching of store team members
• Build strong relationships with customers, fleets, and local business accounts
• Ensure safety, compliance, and inventory accuracy
• Prepare to step into a Store Manager role
What We're Looking For
• Automotive retail, tire, quick service, or customer-focused management experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Results-driven with a passion for team development and customer experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
