Accounts Payable Specialist
$24 - $25 per hourRandstad
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or basic accounting/AP environments. Technical Skills: Familiarity with high-volume document scanners and document management software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, or ERP systems). Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy to catch missing pages, blurry text, or data entry typos. Organizational Skills: Ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining a clean digital and physical workspace. Communication: strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the accounting team. salary: $24 - $25 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: Associate Responsibilities Document Digitization: Scan high volumes of paper invoices and paper documents into the electronic accounting system daily. Data Verification: Review scanned documents for clarity and accuracy, ensuring all pages and numbers are legible. Indexing & Filing: Categorize, tag, and file digital invoices according to company naming conventions and folder structures. Data Entry: Enter basic invoice metadata (vendor name, invoice number, date, and amount) into the AP system to prepare files for processing. Discrepancy Reporting: Flag incomplete invoices or poor-quality scans and route them to the senior AP team for resolution. Mail Handling: Open, sort, and organize incoming physical mail and digital inbox invoices.
